Guides & Owners

Born and raised in Northern Minnesota. From the time I could walk I was in woods or on the water. I did my first guide trip at 16yrs old on Crane Lake, Minnesota and fell in love with it. At 17 I was guiding hunting and fishing trips full time during the summers.
After graduating high school I joined the Army where I spent 12 years deploying multiple times to both Iraq and Afghanistan. After the Army I moved back to Minnesota where I went back to guiding hunting and fishing full time.
When the opportunity presented itself in 2018 to move back to Texas I jumped on it and started guiding for a ranch in Cherokee Texas. After a few years of guiding in Cherokee I took my passion of teaching and guiding hunting to the public and this is how the idea of A3B evolved and now operating as a full time year round outfitting establishment in Brownwood Texas making memories on trip at a time.

Born and raised in Northern Minnesota and spent most of my childhood either in the woods or out on the water. The outdoors has always been my grounding place and I’ve hunted everything from squirrels to Gemsbok, with a little bit of everything sprinkled in between.
After graduating high school I enlisted into the Army as an Infantryman and spent well over half my career in the Recon Platoon or Sniper Section. I did 3 deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq and recently finished my 20 year career up as a Team Sergeant in the Security Forces Assistance Brigade out of Fort Hood TX.
I am a proud husband and father of an amazing woman and incredible little girl who are the very center of my world. Now that I am retired, I’ve shifted my focus to the second most important thing in my life; hunting. I love hunting hogs, deer, predators and just about everything with feathers. I have a special passion for introducing hunting to new hunters and youths, as they are the future of the sport we all love and cherish.

I’m a proud husband and father of three, and the outdoors has always been a big part of my life. Whether it’s fishing, bird hunting, or chasing whitetails, I’ve always found something meaningful in being outside and staying connected to the land. Duck hunting is my biggest passion—there’s nothing like early mornings in the blind, watching the sky come alive, and sharing those moments with good people.
I’m also a U.S. military veteran, having served in Iraq with the 101st Airborne. That experience shaped who I am today—instilling discipline, respect, and a deep appreciation for the opportunities we have both in life and in the outdoors.
I run a Pudelpointer for bird hunting, and that partnership in the field is something I truly value. Watching a good dog work and being part of that connection is one of the most rewarding parts of the hunt.
To me, hunting is more than just a pastime—it’s a tradition built on respect for wildlife, the land, and the responsibility that comes with both. That mindset is at the core of A3B Outdoors. It’s not just about the hunt—it’s about the experience, building relationships, and helping others create memories that will last a lifetime.

Case Markham was born and raised in Brownwood, Texas, and has been hunting since he was old enough to be in the field—harvesting his first deer at just 5 years old. From that point on, the outdoors became a way of life.
By the age of 14, Case was already guiding whitetail hunts in Mexico, gaining real-world experience early and building a strong foundation in working with hunters from all walks of life. Over the years, he expanded his skillset into bird hunting and exotic game, becoming a well-rounded guide across multiple species and hunting styles.
After high school, Case briefly played college football before realizing his true path was in the field. He went on to complete firefighter school and now serves with the Brownwood Fire Department—bringing that same work ethic, discipline, and reliability into every hunt he guides.
Today, Case guides a wide range of hunts including waterfowl, turkey, exotics, whitetail, and even bowfishing. Whether it’s calling ducks at daylight or helping a hunter connect on a trophy, he brings energy, knowledge, and a genuine passion for the experience.
Case lives in Brownwood with his fiancée and daughter, who share his love for the outdoors. For him, hunting is more than just the harvest—it’s about building relationships, creating lasting memories, and making every hunt one to remember.

Born and raised in southwest Arkansas, I’m a family man who lives and breathes the outdoors. I harvested my first whitetail buck and mallard drake at just 7 years old, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I was fortunate to spend much of my younger years alongside my grandfather at the duck club he built from the ground up. That time in the woods and on the water—learning the ins and outs of flooded timber, lakes, and row crop fields—shaped who I am today and laid the foundation for everything I know about hunting.
Since then, I’ve spent years chasing whitetails, working waterfowl, tracking Eastern turkeys, and hunting predators across the South.
With a background in farm and land management, I’ve built a strong understanding of animal behavior, habitat, and how game reacts to pressure. I focus on real-world tactics and scouting—dialing in the right setups and making it happen when it counts—to consistently put hunters in the right position.
What drives me most is watching others succeed. There’s nothing better than seeing someone harvest their first—or their best—duck, deer, turkey, or predator. I take pride in doing my part to make that happen and making sure every hunter I guide has the best opportunity to be successful.
I’m all about hard work, attention to detail, and delivering a hunt that’s as real and rewarding as it gets—whether it’s your first time in the field or you’ve been doing it your whole life.

Born and raised in Ranger, Texas, I have been hunting since I was big enough to tag along with my dad. I have hunted anything from whitetails and turkeys to coons and hogs, producing two top-three UKC Texas State Championship coon hounds and some of the best hog dogs out there.
I have recently fallen in love with upland bird hunting and duck hunting. To me, it doesn’t get any better than sailing wings over a duck hole or a flush exploding under your feet and the cackling of a rooster pheasant.

Born and raised in Texas and currently living in southwest Arkansas.
Chasing Rios has taken me from San Antonio, Texas all the way up through Kansas — and every mile in between has only fueled the passion. Turkey hunting isn’t just a season for me, it’s a lifestyle.
Proud husband and father of two — family always comes first, but when the woods call, I’m answering.
The best part of it all? Putting others on their bird. Watching someone experience that first gobble up close or seal the deal on a hunt is what really makes it special for me.
Early mornings, gobbles at daylight, and the thrill of the hunt… nothing else like it. Come join us for a memory that will last a lifetime.
